Wrapped up several graphic design jobs in August. Sent the new issue of Mean magazine to press. Good stuff, including a pictorial where Bill Hader plays Bad Lieutenant featuring artwork by Kurt Iswarienko and Sean Phillips.
Finished another Feral House title, Dope Menace, by Stephen J. Gertz: a collection of drug-themed pulp covers.
In the last week of August, finished cover and layouts for Artillery magazine. Find it in your artsier NYC and LA venues, totally free.
Currently in the works: new issue of Artillery and books from Americhip and Feral House.

Feral House book Secession

A couple projects back from press in early 2008. The first, a book from Feral House titled Secession.
This book, written by Thomas H. Naylor, is about the feasibility of states seceding from the union.

Another title, Brooklyn Review 25, done for CUNY’s Brooklyn College, is somewhere between a book and a journal. Worked with editor/writer Andy Hunter on this. The cover is an amazing piece of art by Alison Elizabeth Taylor done entirely in wood, a technique known as marquetry.
